Approx. 36.5 x 25 cm; 7 color woodblock prints; Japanese text on upper and side margins; all images have rectos and versos of the dolls and clothing designed to be cut out and made into three-dimensional dolls. Often used for hands-on educational purposes, Omocha-e prints were also designed to be played with, cut out and constructed. The images are a unique look into the Japanese trends and styles of the Meiji period. 1) "Dolls with changes of clothing", Kyoiku ningyo kisekae.
