Story of Francisco Pacheco, a relatively unknown California pioneer, not related to Governor Romualdo Pacheco or the well-known Pacheco families of Contra Costa, Santa Clara, and Marin counties. Francisco Pacheco arrived in California in 1819 and became one of the region's wealthiest rancheros, having been granted the Ausaymas y San Felipe grants in 1833 and 1836.. (Inventory #: 7472)
