1924 · New Orleans, LA
New Orleans, LA, 1924. Broadside printing 20 color plates representing the pageant floats. Broadside, 24 1/4 x 40 inches, the color floats in five columns, each column printing four like-sized panels. The only copy we have been able to find is held at the Ringling Brothers Library in Sarasota, Florida, with an image available for viewing on the internet (compared to that complete copy, the one offered here has been trimmed to the border on both sides and the bottom edge, and has been trimmed enough on the top edge to take a word, "Subject," in addition to all of the border; this copy lacks a 4 x 5 inch piece in the center of the top edge that results in the loss of two words and portions of two others). Worn and split at folds, with a little loss to affected color panels. A working copy only. Laid down on brown paper and folded (lacking a 4 x 5 inch piece along the top edge, taking a portion of the title and touching one of the color panels). (#5620). (Inventory #: 58946)
