Personal Spurs of Film Director Budd Boetticher - Letter of Authenticity

Film Director Budd Boetticher's personal spurs. Boetticher wore these in his performances on horseback and he can be seen wearing them in Boetticher’s film, My Kingdom For. The points are all rounded as to not injure the horses. The maker is "ALPACA" on both spurs, the state in Mexico in which they were made. The spurs are worn but still in very good condition. They could still be used today. Also included with this lot are two photos of Boetticher from his personal collection. Accompanied by an original Autograph Letter Signed from Mary Boetticher, his wife, attesting to the spurs being her hushand’s own. Additionally enclosed is a signed photograph of Boetticher and a card signed by him. Enclosed together in a handsome custom cloth clamshell box to preserve them. (Inventory #: 14475J)
