The story of Peyton Loftis and her family whose father was corrupt but loving, mother who was lonely and forgiving and sister Maudie who was crippled and undeveloped. 400pp., bound in olive cloth lettered in gilt, spine lettering gilt, bump to one corner, some light fading to edges, small piece of paper mounted to upper corner, otherwise a very nice in unclipped pictorial dust jacket with some edge wear and light wear to spine ends.
