1963 · London
Though instantly packaged at the time (and indeed, today) as a sexploitation film, "The Yellow Teddybears" is very much a pre-"Swinging London" message picture, about a group of girls at a boarding school who wear a small yellow teddy bear on their lapels to indicate they have lost their virginity.
Red titled wrappers with title window, single call sheet dated April 5, 1963, both in a custom green cloth spring back binder with the director's initials ("RHD"), the film's final title ("The Yellow Teddybears") and the production company ("Tekli Film Productions Ltd") embossed in yellow on the front board. Title page present, with credits for screenwriters Donald and Derek Ford, the two production companies (Tekli and Animated Motion Pictures), noted as FINAL, and dated February 1963. 85 leaves, mimeograph duplication, with pink and goldenrod revision pages throughout.
