Its steady growth and the increasing demand for its use since its establishment four years ago at Rollins College, Winter Park, Florida, as a cooperative project, furnish convincing evidence that the Union Catalog of Floridiana is rendering a definitive and deeply needed service in an extensive and virtually unexplored field. The purpose of the Catalog is two-fold: (1) to answer the question, What is there on Florida, by listing materials relating to that subject and thus provide a comprehensive index; and (2) to answer the question Where can it be located?, by indicating on cards where information can be found...
