Solid and VG (with offsetting at the endpapers and a former owner bookplate to the front free endpaper) in a bright, price-intact, VG- dustjacket, with complete, even separation of the front panel and the front flap fold and very light creasing and chipping along the panel edges. Still though, very presentable and, with the dustjacket in a clear mylar, everything holds together well. Octavo, 341 pgs., nicely-illustrated thruout in charcoal and pen-and-ink by the author. Tasteful bookplate at the front free endpaper of Edward M. Crane, prominent publisher (whose papers are now held at Special Collections at Princeton University Library) and former president of Van Nostrand Co. (Inventory #: 8860)
