Contemporary (or early) vellum, manuscript spine; folio (220 x 315 mm); pp. [20], 330, numbered on the recto only, with 14 full-page woodcut illustrations, all but 3 colored by hand. Lacks prelims up to 2*1 (title, author's preface, and beginning of table of contents), but these supplied in manuscript, in a handsome contemporary hand, in black and red ink. Lacks everything after 2i6; outer half of p89 excised, last leaf trimmed and mounted. Faint scattered browning and dampstain. The colored woodcuts are in excellent condition. Sold as is.
