Boston: The Bibliophile Society, 1921. One of 450 copies. This is a first edition of Stevenson's earliest known story, the MS of which was in the Rosenbach library. The parchment spine and tips are very clean with only a touch of the green of the box. The pages are mostly unopened. The outer slipcase has two small splits at opening and one bump. The inner slipcase has small split of cloth at foot of spine. It is a commendable copy.. Limited. Parchment Backed Boards. Very Good/Slipcase Good. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. Privately Printed.
