Softbound
New York
New York: Fifth Avenue Art Galleries, James P. Silo, Auctioneer. Softbound. Good, center signature is loose. Many pencil notations on front cover, as well as a small white label in the lower left and a rip above this label. Printed wraps. (24 pp.), 7 bw reproductions. This catalogue (which is priced in pencil) lists 69 works. Quite rare, not listed in Lancour, nor in Worldcat. It would seem Mr. Tyler was still alive at the time of this sale, and based on brief remarks inside of it, it took place after the Thomas Clark auction of 1899. Tyler lived from 1855-1931. This sale could have occured in 1903, 1908, or possibly 1914 based on the stated day of the week and the typography. (Inventory #: 140694)
