London: Ernest Benn [i.e. Eyre & Spottiswoode], 1943. First edition, later issue; 8vo, pp. 25, [1]; errata slip tipped in at p. 7; original printed wrappers with contemporary red cloth overlay; very good. Originally published by Ernest Benn in 1927, this is the remainder binding issued by Eyre & Spottiswoode who purchased the Benn stock; the covers are the same as for The Augustan Poets series published by them in 1943 but with wine-red, simulated-cloth cover pasted over with cut-out to reveal only the title on front cover. With 2 of the 3 misprints as identified by Higginson & Williams: the "f" is not broken on p.28; but the slug is present on p. 14, and the "c" is broken on p.22. Graves wrote the 'Note' on p. iii, and modernized the poems. Higginson & Williams A-25. (Inventory #: 44826)
