London: Frederick Warne and Co, 1876. Decorative Cloth. Collectible; Very Good. A solid, well-preserved copy of the 1876 stated 2nd edition of this charming children's alphabet book. "With Alphabetical Descriptions and Illustrations from Designs by the Author--Printed in Colours by Kronheim". Tight and VG in its navy-blue cloth, with lightly-faded (but still strong) gilt-lettering and design at the front panel and spine. Minor bumping at the tips and light wear at the spine ends. Very light wear as well to the inner hinges but the binding is still strong and sturdy. Quarto, 25 (as called for) beautiful chromolithographed plates, all of which are clean and bright.
