Pierre Champion's booklet is browned and chipped at edges with small losses to fore edge, spine fold cracked at ends and barely holding in middle, and short closed tear in fore edge of first two leaves. La Danse Macabre has front hinge split at ends with two horizontal tears across spine, and several pages detached. Cover folder missing back strip and is rubbed, bumped, abraded and soiled. Introductory booklet by Pierre Champion, followed by a facsimile reproduction of Marchant's 1486 illustrated poem, with engravings and Gothic font. Text entirely in French. (Inventory #: RMARLAD00RJB)
