Rare horseshoing treatise in original decorated cloth binding. 8vo, dark brown cloth, pressed titles and image of horse in black, with horsehoes in the four corners of the front cover. 150p + 7p adv, each from a supplier of products for horse-shoeing or horse-health: nails, colics, ointments, etc. Copiously illustrated with 62 line engarving all relating to the shoe and anatomy of the foot or leg of the horse. Covers soiled, corners slighly worn and a small, one inch of abrasion to the bottom edge front cover. Bottom right corner of the leaves moderately stained throughout, limited to bottom and outside margin and thus not affecting text or illustrations. Solid binding.
