"As far as I have been able to discover, the first man actually to build an electrical logic machine was Benjamin Burack, of the department of psychology, Roosevelt College, Chicago. His article on 'An Electrical Logic Machine,' (ibid)…was the first published description of the device, although the machine was built and demonstrated as early as 1936" (Martin Gardner, Logic Machines and Diagrams, p. 125).
