The very scarce second edition of this famous work, a series of letters addressed to the Princess of Anhalt-Dessau whom Euler had tutored in physics, astronomy, etc., etc. The third vol. bears the imprint of "Francfourt et Leipsic" without a publisher's name. The first edition (1768-1772) was printed in St. Petersburg. After our second edition it was reprinted in 1775, 1778, 1787, 1812, etc. (Inventory #: 2852)
