Printed as an homage to prematurely deceased artist, Wladimiro Melgarejo Munoz, who first engraved the literal transcription of the JUANA FIGUEROA, a poem and warning by Jorge Calvetti, on an original etching, mezzotint, and dry point in 1977 and printed this on his hand press with the co-operation of Samuel Cesar Palui. Palui has revisited this intriguing poem and its visual interpretation herein. (Inventory #: 9782)
