First Edition. 8vo; 140pp; + fold out Annual Report of the Inspector of the Department of Wisconsin W.R.C., textured tan printed wrappers, front wrap with organization and year in black, rear with a depiction of the medal of the WRC, edges chipped, spine chipped with small pieces missing, front cover darkened 1" around the edge, pencil notation to upper left and lower right corner of the front wrap, age toning to the front two pages, about very good.

As an organization, The National Woman's Relief Corps, Auxiliary to the Grand Army of the Republic was formed in 1883. It was a civil, patriotic organization that, according to their official information, cooperates "in doing honor to all those who have patriotically served our country in any war" by teaching "patriotism and duties of citizenship, the true history of our country and the love and honor of our flag."
