Dark red leather binding with gilt border, gilt stamped designs and State of Georgia seal on the front board. 5 raised bands, gilt designs and title on spine. Professionally repaired. Upper corner section of spine which was chipped and missing has been patched with new red leather and the letters "ME" of men gilt stamped on new leather. Hinges strengthened. Some of the biographies included in Volume II are Howell Cobb, Joel Crawford, William Candler, Stephen Elliott, John Forsyth, Crawford Long, Wilson Lumpkin and dozens others. (Inventory #: 4598)
