The pamphlet discusses some of the conclusions of the commission on best route for the Erie Canal from the lake to the Hudson River. The discussion also briefly discuses arranging financing in Europe to cover some of the costs. The report, according to the last page was sent to Governor Morris, DeWitt Clinton, and Robert Fulton.
