The first Du Page county history, including an invaluable account of the county's earliest organizations, schools, agricultural productions and settlers, as well as some interesting anecdotes regarding the Black Hawk war, Indian massacres in the county, old claim feuds, and other scrapes and incidents in the history of the county.
