Little was President of the New England and Middle States Mission (1846) and the man who convinced President Polk to allow Mormons to join the Mexican war effort as the Mormon Battalion. He was counselor to the Presiding Bishop October 6, 1856 and resigned in the summer of 1874. Little also served as Marshal of Salt Lake City. Appeared before judge C.E. Sinclair in this deposition.
