Amsterdam and New York: N. Israel and Da Capo Press, 1967. Facsimile reprint. All three volumes and the clam shell box containing the charts are in fine condition in white cloth covered boards with gilt on blue title labels on the spines and front boards. Each volume and the box are uniformly bound being small quartos measuring 10" by 7 1/2". Each of the three bound volumes has its original acetate dust jacket which are in fine condition with the exception of volume I which has two chips missing from its lower fore corner of the front panel and across the upper edge of the spine area. A facsimile reprint of the original 1798 version published in London. Volume I contains 432 pages illustrated with six plates. Volume II contains 504 pages illustrated with five plates (one of which is a chart). Volume III contains 505 pages followed by an errata for all three volumes and is illustrated with six plates. The clam shell box contains sixteen fold-out charts as called for and all are in fine condition. An extremely clean and handsome set with no prior ownership markings of any kind.
