This story of four cousins living with their grandmother for a year, by influential Norwegian children's literature author Dikken Zwilgmeyer, contains a frontispiece and six color plates by Norwegian artist Astri Welhaven Heiberg. Poulsson, the translator, was also a prolific writer of children's literature in her own right.
Signed binding: Taupe publisher's cloth, front cover richly colored with green, black, and red design of the four cousins at school marked with the distinctive intertwined capital Ds of Decorative Designers (Henry and Lee Thayer).
