Ruthless and demanding Broadway musical star Jenny Stewart (Joan Crawford) meets her match in a blind rehearsal pianist Tye Graham (Michael Wilding) who, unbeknownst to Jenny, has held a soft spot for the tyrannical star since his days as a novice Broadway reporter.
