The first complete Bible in Bembe (or Ebembe), a Bantu language of the Niger-Congo family, spoken in the eastern Democratic Republic of the Congo and in western Tanzania. The revised New Testament was prepared by Abekyamwale Mwanja et al., and the Old Testament translated by Bahombwa Balebanga and Alombwe E'Engele.
