Championship Canadian rodeo rider Robert “Larry” Cameron, known in his riding days as “Calgary Red"" was a close friend of Baer's. Cameron owned a General Motors car dealership in Sacramento, California. As promised, Baer soundly defeated Primo Carnera just ten days after this poster was inscribed. At the match, Carnera hit the mat 11 times and Baer walked away Heavyweight Champion of the World.
An extraordinary and desirable piece of boxing memorabilia.
