Bound in full calf, beautifully rebacked to style, raised bands with gilt title within one compartment. Bookplate of Stoneleigh Abbey, home of the Leigh family from 1561 to 1990 and visited by several famous people including Jane Austen. Anson's later editions provided maps and illustrations of those places he visited from information he later found through the government of those countries, people he had met and earlier manuscripts.
