Polskie Wydawnictwo Muzyczne (Polish Music Publishing House) was founded in 1945 and the only music publisher in post-war Poland for serveral years. The publication covered musical activities in Poland including general reviews, musical theory as well as books, periodicals and correspondence. Composers were introduced with short bios and lists of the compositions. The magazine is illustrated with some b/w photography, drawings and occsional scores. Text in Polish. Binding lightly rubbed and scuffed with light wear along edges and several indentations at upper left corner of back cover. Block age-toned. Binding in overall good-, interior in good condition.
