Overall good. Ex-Horticultural Society of New York, with bookplate noting Kenneth K. Mackenzie's bequest of the book. Grisebach (1814-79), a German botanist, was director of the botanical garden at Gottingen. This extensive catalogue of Caribbean flora is based on the collections at the Hookerian Herbarium and the Kew Museums, and it was intended as "a synopsis of all vascular plants as yet known to inhabit the British West Indian possessions."
