London: Printed. Hartford: Re-printed and sold by Eben. Watson, 1774. 63pp. 20th-century blue buckram, gilt leather label. Contemporary ownership inscription on titlepage and second leaf. Light foxing and wear to text, heavier to outer leaves. Good plus. A later American edition, after the first issued in London the same year. Robinson was very sympathetic to the cause of the American colonists, and his pamphlet was certainly popular with the more radical element in the colonies. He is highly critical of Lord North's administration, but Franklin is taken to task as well as a troublemaker. HOWES R372. AMERICAN INDEPENDENCE 134j. EVANS 13585. SABIN 72152. (Inventory #: WRCAM47340)
