[ St. Paul, 1889. 15pp. Printed self-wrappers. Front wrapper stained and bit chipped, trimmed. A sound copy. Washburn ran milling operations in Minnesota and was president of the Minneapolis, St. Paul & Sault Ste. Marie Railway. Full of biting invective against Washburn, this pamphlet sought to prevent his election to the U.S. Senate, but he was elected anyway in 1889. An interesting example of pre-television mud slinging, and not quite as effective. Not in the NUC. DAB XIX, p.504. (Inventory #: WRCAM16768)
