Very Good. 1912. Typed signed letter from George Curry, At Large Member of the US House of Representatives on House stationary. Dated April 22, 1912 and addressws to the Honorable M. C. Meechem, a judge in Socorro, NM. The letter gives information regarding the primaries for the Presidential election in 1912, and Roosevelt's challenge to Taft for the nomination. Page is lightly toned, with fold creases. Corrections and signature in ink. Curry was the governor of the Territory of New Mexico, 1907 - 1910, deputy treasurer, county assessor, county clerk, and sheriff of Lincoln County, New Mexico, and served as a Rough Rider under Teddy Roosevelt.
