First serialized in the Cornhill Magazine from February 1866 to May 1867. This was the fourth and last of his novels published in the magazine.Won - Not Wooed: 1871. 131pp. First American edition. Usually titled: Not Wooed But Won, first serialized in the magazine Chambers's Journal.The Race for Wealth: 1866. 102pp. First American edition, published in the same year as the London edition.
