Dallas: Still Point Press, 1993. Limited Edition. Quarto. Limited to 450 copies. The present copy signed by author David Farmer, Gould and Charlotte Whaley, former publisher of Still Point Press in Dallas and by Stanley Marcus himself. Stanley Marcus followed his father's wishes to join in the family business of Neiman-Marcus and reluctantly did so while still following his dream of collecting books, hoping to someday publish or own a bookshop. He met many famous book people in his ventures, J. Frank Dobie, Carl Hertzog, Rockwell Kent and more. 149pp., bound in blue cloth stamped in gilt, spine lettering gilt. Spine just a touch faded. A very nice copy of this interesting bookman.
