One long (13" x 7" wide) sheet of hand decorated letter paper (plus three lines that spill on to a second page) with original hand-painted envelope. A typed letter from Miriam Patchen (on behalf of Miriam and Kenneth) to a Mr. U, Grant Roman of Roman Books in Fort Lauderdale. The letter is dated October 28, 1962. At this point, Kenneth's health had deteriorated to the point where his wife was handling all correspondence. The letter is SIGNED by Miriam. The letter discusses much detail regarding Kenneth's portfolio of picture poems entitled The Moment and also mentions that all of Kenneth's painted books are long gone by this point. Both the letter and the mailing envelope are painted in glorious rich tones of red, green, purple and yellow. (Inventory #: 22234)
