Numerous black and white illustrations, as well as seven tissue-guarded heliogravures (including frontispiece portrait of Bonheur). Inscribed by Klumpke on the half title ("In remembrance of your visit to Rosa Bonheur's studio..."), dated 1937. Slight wear to exterior. Bookplate to front free endpaper. Original front wrap with light wear. Heliogravures with a touch of foxing, but interior otherwise clean. Very good, no jacket, with faults as noted. (Inventory #: 427299)
