Good. 1908. Certificate appointing Dr. J. W. Laws as a delegate for the Territory of New Mexico to the meeting of the International Congress on Tuberculosis in Washington, DC. The conference was to be held September 21 to October 12, 1908. Dr. Laws was the physician in charge of a sanatorium for tuberculosis in New Mexico. Signed by George Curry, governor of the Territory. Curry also served as a Rough Rider under Theodore Roosevelt and was a member of the US House of Representatives from New Mexico. Embossed seal of the Territory of New Mexico. Light toning and soiling, fold creases and edge tears along creases up to approximately 3 inches in length. Creasing near edges. 10 inches by 14 inches. ; 8vo 8" - 9" tall; 1 pp .
