Toad of Toad Hall: A Play from Kenneth Grahame's Book 'The Wind in the Willows'
by Milne, A. A.
London: Methuen & Co. Ltd, 1929. First edition. Hardcover. Very good/very good. 166; 8pp. Duodecimo [20 cm] Pale blue paper over boards with a gilt stamped title on the spine, and a small vignette in gilt on the front cover. Top edge gilt. The extremities are just a trifle bumped and rubbed. The endpapers are heavily discolored at the hinges, and the pages are toned. The dust jacket is darkened at the spine and along the folds and edges, and has periodic small open and closed tears in the edges (the paper at the foot of the spine is a bit more prominently torn and fragile).
