Illustrated with six engraved portraits of Queen Victoria (frontispiece), King William IV, Sir Walter Scott, Laetitia Elizabeth Landon, Giulia Grisi, and Mozart, this spectacular miniature almanac contains a 12-month calendar for 1838, and lists of royal birthdays, European sovereigns, Queen's Ministers, the Royal Household, and Scientific Institutions.Slipcase rubbed along edges. Gilt slightly and partly faded on wrappers. Tail of spine chipped. Slipcase in overall good- to good, wrappers in good, interior in very good condition. Schloss produced his high quality almanacs from 1836 to 1843.
