A play set in the Indian territory of North America that would later become Oklahoma. The play takes its name from a popular Irish folk song that was popular in the 19th century United States. It inspired the popular Rodgers and Hammerstein musical Oklahoma!, which has an almost identical plot, but uses different songs.
