The end sheets are of marbled paper which matches that which is on the boards. A small octavo measuring 7 1/2 by 5 inches with just a touch of rubbing to the joints and with the leather worn through at the lower tips of the boards. Without a dust jacket and most probably as issued. 256 pages of text illustrated with an engraved frontispiece and one hundred illustrations by Hugh Thomson.
