Illustrated throughout with the history of technology and design leading up to the large data processing machines designed by the Eames' firm for IBM. 174 pp. A Near Fine, square, clean copy in a Very Good dust jacket with a 2-inch wide triangular chip to the bottom of the front panel; shallow chips at the spine ends and corners as well. The jacket paper is thin and prone to chipping. Our jacket now housed in a mylar wrap to prevent further damage. The recipient of the inscription was a minor avant-garde musician who lived in New York City at the time and collaborated with La Monte Young. Digital images available upon request.
