The spine and covers are heavily rubbed. The leather corners are missing, and there is a 1/4 inch loss from the head of the spine. The spine is darkened, and has a 2 inch long crack, at the foot of the joint. The top edges of the first four pages are moisture stained, and there is a contemporary owner's brief notation on the front flyleaf. Wilhelm Wundt was the founder of experimental psychology.
