This copy was inscribed "very cordially" to M. Lincoln Schuster (of Simon & Schuster). Laid in are two uncommon Szyk-related items: (1) The Stamford Museum, Inc. Presents an Exhibition of Paintings by Arthur Szyk December 19, 1948 [-] January 13, 1949 - a folded modest-sized four-page leaflet; and (2) Arthur Szyk June 3, 1894 Lodz, Poland Deptember 13, 1951 New Canaan, Conn., U.S.A. [cover title] which is a much larger-sized four-page leaflet, the interior two pages of which reprint part of the Eulogy by Simon H. Rifkind at Szyk's funeral on September 14, 1951. Szyk's finely detailed cartoons skewered the pretensions and exposed the reality of Germany's Master Race, their mythologic underpinnings and their unsavory allies.
