Folding Map of the Juba (Jubba) River in Somalia, East Africa
by Sifton, Praed, and Co
London: Sifton, Praed, and Co., The Map House, 1925. Cloth. Very Good. 1925. Folding map of the Juba, or Jubba, River, which runs from Somalia's border with Ethiopia in East Africa to the Indian Ocean. Linen backed, measures 5 by 8 inches folded, 30 by 11 inches unfolded. Housed between paper wraps. Full color, with major landmarks, cities, and rivers identified, though most of the map is dominated by the Indian Ocean. Very good. Two inches of loss to bottom right paper corner (revealing backing), which does not at all effect the map of legends. Very minor separation at folds near extremities. Map remains bright, clean, and unmarked.
