The descriptive text was written by Rev. A. B. Hervey with extracts from Longfellow, Whitter, Bryant, Holmes, and others. The copyright of this book is 1885, but this book was printed in 1887. Each illustration is in full color, and still has its tissue guard. The covers show some edge wear, rubbing and slight soling. The interior pages are toned slightly due to age. One illustration is partially separated from the text block. Measures 12 1/2" 10".
