A very good minus copy, well preserved. Rebacked at some point with original spine laid on. Some dampstaining to margins of frontispiece, mark to title page, occasional foxing. Remains sound and attractive. A well illustrated early builder's manual. This edition improved upon by M.A. Nicholson, and based upon Peter Nicholson's work that was first published in 1797. .
