by Cram, George F.
Single page map of Oregon (10 1/2" x 14") colored, ample margins. Paper slightly brittle, some normal aging and browning; overall very good or better.
George F Cram (1842-1928) served in the army during the Civil War, and founded his map company in Illinois in 1867, long after most of the major map companies established their business. Despite being wipped out by the Chicago fire in 1871, the company rebuilt and survived and started making globes in 1932, and continued as a business for over 130 years. Attractive and detailed map of Portland, Maine. The map is lightly colored. (Inventory #: 106212)
